Right-click the unwanted printer and choose 'Remove Driver Package.' Note: Using the 'Remove Driver Package' option will clear all driver installation files for that device, leaving no reference to the printer that Windows could possibly use to auto-reinstall again. Select “USB Composite Device” and press Next button. Windows 7 will install the driver automatically. STEP 10 Once the memory card is inserted into card reader a new drive should appear in Windows “Computer” folder.

This product isn't plug and play and the drivers and software updates at Akasa.com will not fix the problem. The product will show up as an unknown device under windows 7 and no matter what you try to do you will not find a driver that works with this product. It will read the USB 3.0 correctly but no 2.0 USB and no card reading what so ever. I read support forum after support forum and never found a solution. Nice looking product - to bad it doesn't work as advertised.

You get a lot of connectivity options on the front of your system with this guy. Having four USB 2.0 ports and only two USB 3.0 ports up front is a slight bummer, but the reality is that there are only two on-board USB 3.0 ports from a 20-pin header on most motherboards nowadays, and one of them must be dedicated to the memory card reader, so the second USB 3.0 jack must be stolen from a jack on the back of the case, via a standard type A connector strung through a hole in the rear, which I had so it worked fine. I'd rather have one of the several rear USB 3.0 ports on the front anyway. If you have a case with a black brushed aluminum motif like I do, this coordinates beautifully. Also I must tip my hat to the courteous returns department, they turned around a faulty unit very quickly.
